So this week i took photos of really random things that i found around. The first one is of a bedside table. I like it because i like the colors of the gold jewelry. I also like the weird different things that are on the table. A guinness cup, a framed picture, a jesus candle, and pills. I thought that it was an interesting assortment of things. The second picture is of a toilet and other weird things that i found in a junkyard. I thought that it looked interesting and ambiguous from an above level. Thats all for now!

Jared
So people do Halloween in different ways. This is one of my roomates who decided to draw all over his body as his costume. I choose to put one in color and one in black and white because i cant tell which way i like it better. the color in my bathroom is not very nice, so the black and white makes it look good. i like color one because i like his body language and i also like the black horizontal line going through the whole photo. i like the black and white one because you cant see his face or body or arm , but you can see them all in his reflection. also his face is very real and not posed. Thats all

Foilage
So this is the best time of the year for fall foilage. And everything around Worcester looks so good. These two pictures i took because the colors were so vibrant and the leaves looked so pretty. I like how in the first one the leaves are different colors and shades and are all overlapping each other. I think it gives the photo good dimension. I like the perspective of the second one because it draws your eyes from the pile of leaves into the brick corner. I just really like fall. Thats all

New England Fair's
Last weekend i went to King Richard's Reniassance Fair. One of the things i like about New England is that during the fall there are tons of fairs all over. I went there for the fair, but also for the food. I had heard rumors about turkey legs, but didnt believe it until i saw them. I like these two pictures as a pair. I think one without the other wouldnt be as good. It tells a story.. about turkey legs. Thats all.

Subway
So i went to New York this weekend, and realized that i love taking pictures in the subway. I think that it is so cool looking and there are a million different things you can take pictures of down there. Especially in New York, very interesting things can occur in the subway. I wish i had taken so many more, but here are a few.

Annie
I took a whole series of these photos of my friend Annie. I took them from different angles, lighting, and distance. I like the closer one, but i also think that the sun on the brick it kind of cool looking. I realized that I really like body language in my photos. I like taking photos of different people and seeing their natural body language. The way people comfortably put their body. That's all.

Family
Last week i went to the baby shower of my new baby cousin. My whole entire extended family was there, including my 99 year old grandmother. I am very close with my grandmother and think that she is a remarkable person. I am always trying to take pictures of her, but she will never let me. So at the shower i finally got a picture of her. i havent totally grasped how to edit my photos on my computer yet, but i just like this picture because it truly captures my grandmother.

Summer 2009
This summer i went to Colombia. I had just gotten my SLR digital camera, and i had never done digital before, so i was really excited to use it. The pictures that i posted are what i think are a good representation of the culture of Colombia, or at least the town that i stayed in. The first photo is of two men talking in the street. The second photo is of a man selling vegetables on the street. The last photo is of jars of candy that are sold in the market. All these photos are very typical Colombian.
